Thinking about what to do in Tenerife?

Well, the place you are visiting is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world; the reason is the beauty of the island with its natural attractions, along with its perfect climate. Here coexist deserts and forests, beaches and mountains, cold and hot weather; it is definitely recommended to spend some time of your holiday exploring the most famous locations.

This excursion will take you to the northern side of the island, a very green area; here we find a wet microclimate caused by the trade winds which often bring clouds to this region.

So first of all we pick you up from your accommodation in Tenerife south around 08:15 AM (on Friday at 09:30 AM); then we get the highway direction Santa Cruz, we reach the city in one hour and we stop there for our first visit of the day.

After that we head to Playa Las Teresitas, a beautiful sandy beach just 15 minutes away from Santa Cruz; here we do a quick stop to take some nice pictures that will be good memories.

At this point we are now ready to travel to one of the most amazing panoramas of Tenerife, Taganana; in this area we contemplate a spectacular coast (see video below) and we have lunch in a tipical local restaurant.

We continue our trip leaving Taganana and travelling through the forest of “Monte de las Mercedes”; soon we reach the town of La Laguna, home to the most famous university of Canary Islands; there we have a walk in the historical center admiring its architecture tipical of the Spanish colonial settlements.

On Friday we will also visit the town of Candelaria and its wonderful cathedral; inside we find the Black Madonna, patron saint of Canary Islands.

We will be back in Tenerife south around 6 PM.

So now you know what to do in Tenerife!
