So first of all we meet in Puerto Colon, the main harbour in playa de Las Americas, where our sailing boat is anchored; once everybody is on board we leave the pontoon and start our whale watching Tenerife trip.
In these waters live friendly cetaceans and it is very easy to spot them all year round; therefore we get a couple of kilometers off the coast, here we usually meet pilot whales and dolphins; so probably you will have the luck to watch these animals happy and free in their habitat.
The chances to have such an encounter during the whale watching Tenerife excursion are very high indeed; the pilot whales swim slowly and they come out of the water often to breathe; the adults can reach about 7 meters in length and many times you can see groups with babies. The dolphins are extremely sociable, they like to play following boats and jumping beside them; above all, the most common species we find in Tenerife is the Bottlenose Dolphin.
So after this amazing experience with the whale watching Tenerife trip we head to the coast; we stop close to the shore for approximately one hour; usually the location is Playa Diego Hernandez, a natural sandy beach in Costa Adeje. During this time we provide you with food and drinks (sandwiches, soft drinks, water, sangria, beer, sparkling wine); if you like you can have a swim using our snorkling equipment. In conclusion, when we are sure everyone has fully enjoyed the break we leave and get back to the harbour.
